Downloading and installing CoScripter

You must be running the Firefox web browser to use the CoScripter sidebar. It does not work with Internet Explorer.

You can install the sidebar by clicking on the download link in the header at the top of the page.

When you go to that page, a bar will show up at the top of your browser window:

You need to give the CoScripter website permission to install software on your computer. Click on "Edit Options" in that bar to bring up the "Allowed Sites" dialog:

Click "Allow" in that window, then "Close". Finish by clicking on the download link in that web page to really download the extension and install it.

Once you have installed the extension, you will have a Tools->CoScripter item in your Firefox menu which brings up the CoScripter extension. CoScripter also places an icon in the bottom-right part of the status bar of your Firefox window. Clicking on the icon toggles the sidebar open and closed.
